We grow a number of plants in small quantities to use in our clients gardens (and our own too!). Mainly we grow varieties that are difficult to get from suppliers or that you can only get at certain times of the year. This means that we can plant them as part of a project even if they are not in season
We also buy and pot up plants that are only available at certain times (e.g. Snowdrops) so that we can include them in clients planting schemes any time during the year. We do this as part of our Planting Projects as well as part of our Seasonal Maintenance Services
This gently curving design for a large suburban garden in St Mellons near Cardiff worked really well. Originally a single space we created a garden with multiple sunny and shady spaces, making the most of the mature specimens that were already in the garden.

Another new design – it’s been a busy year – and we’re very proud of this one. Crisp and clean but highly functional it transformed the space for maximum use. Bespoke blue glass panels by LightKiln Glass set off the modern planting and slate paving.

This is one of this year’s designs for a suburban garden near Blackwood in South Wales. The original space, although a great size, lacked function and definition so we created a design which unified and maximised the space with sweeping curves rippling out from the circular deck. A new patio and barbecue area with herb garden was added adjacent to the house. Now finished and planted the owners are delighted.
These are just a few taster photos – the full design page will be up on our website soon

This is one of our more recent designs for a small garden in Cardiff. The original space lacked function and definition so we created a design that segmented the space with bespoke panels and created views even though the garden is quite small. Now finished and planted the owners are delighted.

Our new venture Light Kiln Glass has had it’s first public outing at the RHS Cardiff Show 2010. Click here to see the dedicated web page on the Light Kiln site.
We’ll definitely be looking to incorporate some of this glass art in future designs!
Here’s one of this year’s gardens. A modern and minimalist entertaining space to complement a fantastic conversion of a welsh farmhouse.

Here’s the video showing the aerial views of the original design we produced for our client in Roath, Cardiff. All our designs are produced in three dimensions allowing our clients to fully appreciate and understand our vision for their garden. Here in Wales, where many gardens are on sloping sites, flat plans just don’t communicate the design.
We present all our designs on DVD and on paper as part of our Full Design Service

We transformed this small garden in Roath, Cardiff into a modern and contemporary entertaining space. By removing the old garage that wasn’t really used we increased the overall space by more than a third allowing two separate areas – dining and cooking, as well as lush specimen planting.
Contrasting materials including sawn sandstone and composite decking were used to provide a clean crisp finish. Lighting and a water feature that works it’s way through the length of the garden completed the effect.
